At Shree Jalaram Mandir & Community Centre Greenford, we are committed to fostering unity,

Started in 2010 during the recession, the Greenford Mandir serves daily vegetarian meals, feeding over 2,000 people weekly and continuing Thursday Prasad traditions.

Originating 200 years ago in Virpur, Gujarat, Saint Jalaram Bapa’s ever-full granary inspires today’s inclusive Sadavrat service based on divine blessings.
Homeless & Needy Food Distribution – Central London
Volunteers serve 230–300 homeless people weekly at Charing Cross, providing food, clothing, and essentials with support from supermarkets and individual donors.
Supporting Other Charities
Surplus Mandir food supplies are shared with local temples, churches, gurdwaras, and food banks to reduce waste and extend support to the wider community.
Medical Seva & Health Awareness
The Mandir hosts health events, blood drives, and has registered NHS organ donors, while raising funds for charities like Diabetes UK and St. Luke’s Hospice.
Community Engagement & Local Contributions
The Mandir supports Greenford community efforts, works with local groups, hosts educational visits, and promotes interfaith and intergenerational understanding.
Global Seva: Supporting India & Beyond

Shree Jalaram Mandir Greenford does an incredible job of engaging
the youth in meaningful ways. The youth group events, from workshops
on cultural heritage to fun team-building activities, help young
people stay connected to their roots while developing life skills.
These events, such as the Shivratri Bhajans, Diwali arts and crafts
event and the Children’s Puja’s foster a strong sense of community

activities, I’ve built lifelong friendships and strengthened my
faith. The mandir is inclusive and vibrant, catering to people of
all ages and backgrounds. Whether attending the uplifting Thursday
Aartis, serving with the compassionate Jalaram Soup Kitchen (JSK),
or finding solace in quiet meditation, it’s a place where everyone
truly belongs.
